Molly’s Scholarship

Once a year, I offer my birth or postpartum services at a sliding scale rate, for an individual or family who could not otherwise afford doula services.

I do this in the spirit of a really amazing doula, Molly, who helped change the trajectory of mine and my child’s lives in a beautiful way. Molly helped me to address and get the upper hand over the fear I felt during pregnancy. Particularly fear around birth and early parenting, but also beyond. She was my companion when I gave birth, and helped to empower me so that I could feel in rhythm with my own process. She was there for me postpartum as well, all at a time when I had no money to offer her. She met me when I was a scared young woman, facing a lot of odds, and Molly decided to help. I could never thank her enough for her love, support and kindness. Molly also helped me to discover my passion for birthwork and helping others in tricky spots in their lives. I am here today because of those who offered me kindness and help out of the love of humanity in their hearts.

If you or someone you know could benefit from doula services, but can not afford them, please inquire about Molly’s Scholarship for an application. See Our Approach page for a list of some additional resources.
